I am getting ready to relaunch Pay-What-You Can editorial services and consultations and I want your help to make them the best they can be.

Since 2022, I’ve been providing writers with professional free or low-cost consultations and editorial services such as developmental edits, copyedits and proofreads. In that time, the demand for affordable creative support has increased tenfold, especially with the cost-of-living crisis, but for the same reason it has become less and less sustainable for me to run as a sole trader.

There are ways to fix this, and I am in the process of relaunching as a social enterprise funded by creative grants as well as by publishers, agencies and other literary institutions. I am working with other editorial consultants, authors and enterprises to provide more affordable and free resources, and am looking to fund editorial and sensitivity training for freelance creatives who want to join me on this new adventure.
